General terms that apply to every quote
- Two coats is standard; a significant colour change (very dark to very light, or vice versa) may need a third coat, charged as extra labour and material
- Quotes assume reasonable parking or loading access close to the property — restricted or permit-only parking in central Belfast may incur an access charge
- Removal of old paint tins, packaging and minor prep waste is included; skip hire or bulk waste removal for larger jobs is quoted separately
Single room repaint
Walls, ceiling and woodwork in one room, prepped and painted with two coats.
Assumptions
- Standard bedroom or reception room up to approx. 12m² floor area, ceiling up to 2.4m
- Walls and ceiling in sound condition — no major filling, damp treatment or plaster repair
- Two full coats on walls and ceiling, one undercoat and one topcoat on woodwork
- Furniture moved to room centre and covered — not removed from the room
- No scaffold or extended-reach access required
- Single flat colour scheme unless otherwise agreed at quote stage
Whole house interior
Full internal repaint across every room, coordinated over consecutive days.
Assumptions
- Typical 3-bedroom semi or terrace — hall, landing, stairs, 3 bedrooms, bathroom, kitchen, lounge
- Walls, ceilings and woodwork in sound condition throughout — no structural or plaster repairs
- Two coats on walls and ceilings, standard heights (no vaulted or double-height spaces)
- Work completed over consecutive days with unrestricted access to all rooms
- One colour scheme per room unless otherwise agreed at quote stage
Feature wall
One accent wall, pattern-matched and hung to a clean finish.
Assumptions
- Single wall up to approx. 3.5m wide, standard 2.4m ceiling height
- Wall already lined and sound — stripping existing paper or lining charged separately
- Standard-repeat pattern — large-repeat or hand-matched designer papers may take longer
Full room wallpapering
All four walls papered and pattern-matched throughout the room.
Assumptions
- Standard room up to approx. 12m² floor area, all four walls
- Walls already lined and sound — stripping existing paper or lining charged separately
- Standard-repeat pattern — large-repeat or hand-matched designer papers may take longer
- Straightforward room shape — no more than one bay window or chimney breast
Woodwork & trim
Skirting, doors, frames and banisters — sanded, primed and finished properly.
Assumptions
- Skirting and one door with frame, or an equivalent single room's woodwork
- Timber in sound condition — no rot, warping or replacement carpentry
- Light sand and spot-prime only — heavy paint build-up or stripping charged separately
- One coat primer/undercoat and one topcoat
Ceilings
Flat matt finishes for ceilings, including crack-filling and stain blocking.
Assumptions
- Single ceiling, standard room size, height up to 2.4m without scaffold or tower access
- Minor crack-filling and light stain-blocking only — not major plaster repair or replacement
- Two coats flat matt emulsion
Colour consultation
An hour on-site with sample boards to settle on tones before we commit to paint.
Assumptions
- One hour on-site, single property address
- Sample boards covering up to 3 rooms, plus a written colour summary afterwards
- Additional rooms or a second visit charged separately
